Default New Project! 1979 Capri RS

    Hey hey,
Back with another Capri project. I had my eye on this for awhile. It was on Ebay, but all the way on the west coast, so seemed like a long process and i just couldnt wrap my head around getting it to New england in the most cost effective way. Fast forward about 8 month later, i see the car in the background of a photo on instagram. I messaged the seller, he came down on price, which freed some room for transport!

Its here, and its been getting some love! Ive been documenting it on my youtube channel. Name: 0850CC6C-51AE-453A-8CC4-5CD6B8028C6D.jpeg

Congratulations! Not a yellow fan myself, but looks like a fun project!

I hear ya. It takes some getting used to. Slowly wetsanding the krylon off the hood. Interior is already real nice and clean. Just gonna throw a 302/t5 in there and let the wife drive it!Name: D5CA66B0-4B8B-49A5-AF39-EC71733CAC50.jpeg

It's all good Bud! I just have never been a yellow fan. I know lots of people like it, I tried really hard, years ago I bought a 98 Cobra in Chrome Yellow. Really enjoyed the car, was a lot of fun. Had it for several years, but just never loved the yellow.

Interior looks to be in great shape! Nice way to start off the project!
