Default 1990 5.0 Main engine bay harness into 1979 dash/interior

Will this be plug and play or do I need to get a 86 efi harness? my doner car is a 90 and the body is 79 (former 4 cyl).
    Also could I get a 85-86 HVAC W/AC and work on 79?

    Thx J

Nothing will be plug and play with the difference in year models.

Yes, you can get an 85/86 HVAC to work in a 79. You will have to cut the firewall opening for the different A/C line style of the 82-93 compared to the 79 model. I did the same thing with my 79 Pace Car. Good Luck!

Get one of these, and one from your donor car. Main ones to be concerned with are near the brake booster, I kept the harness from the under dash area of my LTD, and just got power to those few wires from the EFI harness that needed it. Most of the wires color coding is pretty standard, not all are, but most.
