    I believe the twin polished tip on the driver side was standard for all 5.0 engines in 1984, but I could be wrong.

    ​​A twin polished tip is what my 84 SSP coupe had installed. That is about as base of a 5.0 coupe as you could get and even it had a polished tip

    From the rear, the oem twin tips are spaced close together.
