I have a 1986 Mustang GT w/302 H.O. Engine, 5 speed T-5. All factory original. I had to replace the speedo cable, therefore I had to remove the factory dash panel. The printed plastic printed circuit board is toast and unusable. I had an old one sitting around, so I replaced the original with the one laying around. It fit perfect and had the exact same Ford part #’s. When I got it together, all the gauges worked, except for the oil pressure gauge. Now a couple of days later, my tach only wants to work intermittently.
I found a possible new replacement circuit board at NPD, and all the Ford part #’s match—-except my circuit board has an “AA” at the end, but the one at NPD only has “A” at the end. Will this make a difference?
NPD part # is: M-10K843-3A
My circuit board—“E4ZF-10C956-AA”
NPD circuit board— “E4ZF-10C956-A”
