      Nice catch! I did that once myself.... Car would get hotter and hotter, then suddenly cool, repeat...

      Now an 1981 Granada! .040 over 302, Edel E-street heads... Currently building a 347 because, why not?

      One other choice, that looks like it would fit perfect, is the FPP thermostat housing (M-8592-M90). The hole spacing looks like your oe housing. It's a pricey part though.....currently see pricing from $76 to $106. It is a quality part though.
