Default 1985 GT now with Fuse Block

Hello all! So I redid the factory wiring and added a fuse block next to the starter relay. When looking at the Ford factory wiring diagram...they have 2x feeds coming off the Relay (Dark Green and Yellow) which both look to be about 8AWG in size. Now why are there 2x feeds when they all fuse together down the road anyways?

I ask this because I have them separated directly off of the battery vs on the Starter Relay and the Dark Green one will blow with a 20A breaker AFTER I can start the car. So I will have a running Stang but as soon as I turn to off...I will lose all power to all accessories until I replace that fuse.

My first thought is that I need to upsize that fuse to like 25 or 30A but then I just cannot fathom I am drawing 20+ Amp through the instrument cluster???

Also a peculiar issue; even with the Dark Green 20A fuse blown, while the car is running...I will have full capability to run headlights, windows, convertible top. Very Strange!
Gripping the wheel his knuckles turn white with desire, the wheels of his mustang exploding on the highway like a slug from a .45 ...True death 400 horsepower maximum performance piercing the night...this is black sunshine

The dark green wire is the output of the alternator and electric choke feed.
