    Default Hurst shift rebuild

    Hey guys and gals,
Question, does anybody know if they sell rebuild kits for the older Hurst comp. short throw shifters for a T5? mine had been slightly loose back in the mid 90’s but now it is really loose that you’d think you have a regular shifter in its place. If it is rebuildable id rather go that route, but if not, I’ll throw money down on a B&M, Pro5.0, etc.

    Thanks

You might want to check the shifter handle bolts. Stock had rubber bushings. Most brands still have bolts.

When I had the stock handle on it I actually had solid bushing inserts for it but now it has a hurst chrome stick.
