Skool me on the C5 lock up torque converter. I have a stock C5 in 3 different cars, 82 Capri/255/carb, and 2 LTDs 3.8/CFI. They all act the same at cruising speed, feels like the engine is letting go, surging, smooths out when I gas it or let off. Is this the infamous C5 TC lock up failure? What are the symptoms of its failure? I find it to be odd that all 3 cars do the same thing, very coincidental if it were engine related, they all run great otherwise.
