We're gonna do it here in a couple weeks or so. He is doing the body work on his (67?) Cougar and wants to finish his doors first.
I think they will be a HUGE difference. My driveway is sloped and angled to the carport. A couple weeks ago I pushed the car part way out. On flat ground the rear fenders are about midway down the sidewall. That slight uneven ground made it almost an inch different side to side due to body twist (front half slightly up and tilted). I know when I put them in my '83 hatch it was very noticeable. Quieter. Less creaks.
Even though this was a factory 4-cyl/4-spd the floorpan is slightly torn at the driver seat mounts. The previous owner was in the heavy side I admit...
