    Smile new guy here

Hi all, New guy here. Just bought a 1983, bright bittersweet conv.

I am an old (heavy on the old) long time car guy. Been messin' with cars for 63 years. While we lived in Denver, CO, I was a certified NHRA tech inspector. Way fun, & I got paid to do it!

We also have a 1966 High Country Special Mustang convertible - one of 33.

Welcome to FEP from a fellow Coloradan. I am on the Western Slope here in Grand Junction. Both my daughters are in your neck of the woods. One in Ft Collins and the other in Greeley, both hopefully graduating from College next month. Post some pictures of your vert when you get a chance!

Here is a pic of our "new" Mustang. We are the second owner and the car has less than 18 K miles. Still has the original tires from 1983. YIKES !!!

can't figure out how to upload more than one pic.

And how do I put a "signature" at the bottom of a post? I think that's what it's called.

Welcome to the site. Not sure I've seen an 83 in that color before so it's pretty cool.

For the signature you can go to the "my profile" or "settings" to add one. I "think" you have to be a member for a duration before you can thought. Can quite recall though.

    Good luck with the tinkering!
