    Default Zephyr Finally Running/Driving

I was able to drive the Zephyr out of the garage under its own power finally. Was a great feeling.
Been building it for 2 seasons.

Still needs some tuning but still a decent bit of progress.

Was there something wrong with the stock engine management?

Well my car has a modular engine and 4r70w transmission. I am using a 94 computer that i hade a chip made for. I completely re-wired everything and the car starts and runs and drives. But it is over-fueling (flooding) now and the guy who made my chip is out of business. I have no way to datalog the car to figure out the problem.
By the time i go to another tuner, and pay for another chip and tuning, i would be close to the price of the Holley. And i still would not be able to datalog the car and stuck with 1994 technology. Unless i went with a Moates or Megasquirt, again, more $$$.

So i'm hoping that going this route will alleviate the current issue, plus help me to dial in the engine and transmission. I can still use the system later if i want to boost the car, or even if I decide to coyote swap it down the road.

That all makes sense. I didn't know you were having issues with it.

Just the issue with the fuel. Otherwise it's fine. But i was chasing my tail trying to figure it out and i want to drive the car.

Finally got my Zephyr street legal! At first the car would not shift out of second- only 1st and 2nd gear, no 3rd or OD. I suspected shift solenoid(s) or something mechanical (bad news). I ended up unplugging the VSS and plugging that into the OSS, and that seems to have solved it.
The Holley seems to be working OK, i have been kinda babying the car only getting on it sparingly. It needs a tune for sure. But for just cruising around, it has been really fun. Satisfying after all of that work.
