Default 1979 door hinge tension springs

Does anyone know where to buy new door hinge tension springs for a 79 mustang? 3 out of the 4 of mine are broken.

    Thanks in advance.

Blue oval industries and many others carry them.

Either I'm blind or they don't have them, all I can find is 82-93 style, I'm looking for them for a 79.

I'm not sure what the difference is. Might need a slight modification.

The springs are different. I have yet to find a source for mine.

Dorman makes a repair kit for that style hinge. I have used this kit before. A lot of parts are used on many vehicles, for example the door hinge on an 80 Bronco is the same as a Fairmont. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=10712&jsn=626

That rockauto part is an 88 part number, 79 to 82 use a different style than 83 to 93, I guess I'll just keep the broken ones on there untill someone decides to make them.
