I saw it. He almost made me want to write a letter or an email. I’d like to know what Chry/Ply/Dod had to offer in the early to mid 80’s that you could call a muscle car? Omni GLH? Really?

I haven't watched it lately but that guy is so anal retentive it is extremely irritating. In my neck of the woods the Mopar guys were always a few degrees off plumb. When my ChevyII was still together I used to pound them hard on the street. My wife just met a women whose husband used to race me and she said he remembers that car and he could never beat me. 331sbc with street tunnel ram dual quads and 5:38 gears, even the Hemi guys feared that car. Ah the good old days indeed.

So what did he say? I've pretty much stopped watching tv altogether lol! There are several YouTube channels I've been following instead. Vice Grip Garage, Uncle Tony's Garage, Project Farm, Flitzee's Fabrication, Junkyard Digs, and even our own Basin Motorsports and straight6fan. If there was ever a time to turn our backs on Hollyweird, now would be it. And I'm not referring to politics...just general garbage tv being spoon-fed to us with zero thought for what the viewers actually want.

    Edit: Whoops! Forgot thunderhead289!

Couldn’t have said it better, Broncojunkie.

I cut the cable cord a few years ago and use the $ I saved to upgrade to YouTube premium. All the car content I can handle with no commercials. Subscribe to most of the channels you mentioned

Great to her you guys found alternative to paid tv.
FCC selling off radio and tv bandwidth and giving it to them for 5g is bs.
What ever happened to no payoff utility regulators? Times must change no politics.
Had DTV in 2000. 12.50/mo. Limited commercials. Cancelled it years ago. F thier bundles. Hate that word.
Outages, garbage programming, reruns on multi channels, fast rising cost of subscription, promo rate gimmicks, cheap reality programs.
Tons of sports, budget fake stunt gun movies, looped news. Waste of time.
500 channels is about as practical as 500 hp moving a 40k seat platform to go to store.
Oh but they offer 500 channels. How many can you watch at one time? Save for later? Like unwatched VCR tapes? No time.
Paying for tons of commercials was the ultimate insult. 100.00 x 12= three sets of tires every year.
Same for cell phones. Do not have one for calling. Landline and internet is costing more yet.
All they (ATT) have is excuses and quick sales pitch comebacks when asking for basic products.
Oh copper costs. As if alternative is cheap or more hah reliable and simple equipment.
Then they brag about the billions they pay to take over media companies to further the monopoly.
Companies are freely gouging the public that have limited time and choices to change.
Internet went out again month ago for 2 days. Gets the new bill. They raised the mo. rate 4.00, no credit for outage.
I never sign up for auto pay that depends on internet and its cost. Waiting for the day for inexpensive basic internet.

Just like electric cars. Power temp goes out,(storms, equipment failure) everything else does too. All eggs in one electrical basket.
Backwards from the old days. A lot of good old products still function.
Cost and function were high up on the list, not how much with how little. Now is tiny or mega, no middle. Poor or rich?

Just presume he was talking about the '91-era Capri!! lol Is this the show from AZ in which the star said "Don't break that '64 Barracuda window, it will cost a fortune to replace" and then somebody broke it?
    That was funny.

There was no mistaking the picture he flashed during his rant. Red 82 or 83. Worman owns Welby Car Care in Springfield, OR. For him it’s Mopar or no car. With attitude. His crew will take a twisted burned out hulk and turn it into a museum piece. Period correct fasteners, factory check marks, dealer prep paperwork if the customer wants. Just time & $$$$$$. The ones worth watching are Scott the painter, McGeorge the body man. Dave, the assembler got tired of the drama and left. You don’t see him do much other than Challengers, ‘Cudas, and Chargers.

When this show first started I watched about half way through season one and could not stand that guys voice. He talked so fast and so mono tone it drove me nuts.

I think I know what you mean. If I remember right, they took someone's Super Bird from a clapped-out wreck to practically showroom new, with both the original owner present, and current owner. That was really neat, and think of the worth of that car today, easily $200G's. 440 6V was the motor too, IIRC, which supposedly was faster than (but not more valuable than) the Hemi :tu:

I think you might be getting a couple of shows mixed together. I'm pretty sure that broken Barracuda window was on Desert Car Kings or something like that where they would take a car from their junkyard, put a junkyard engine and transmission in it and paint it in a dirty garage and then try to sell it for top dollar at one of their stupid auctions. I would love to see one of the cars they "restored" up close.

The Graveyard guy only does Chryslers. They do nice work (from what you can see), but I can't tell if the main guy is really that much of a douche bag in real life or if he is just playing a role for TV. I am guessing the former based on how many people leave his shop.

You're absolutely correct--Desert Car Kings! Also, I don't have a problem with 'Capri' as a girls name, I hope she goes with her original plan just to 'spite' him! haha

I had an 87 escort GT back in the day, and a few Mopars, still have a 340 dart. I remember when Mopars were real cheap and no one wanted them, now its like they are gold...hope Fox bodies don't get like that but I hear tell they are on their way.

Their cars make me sick. They are better than the factory turned out when they were new. There is such a thing as overdoing it on a car. I can "appreciate" the amount of work that goes into the cars, but I don't like them. Too much...Foose, Kindigit, Graveyard Cars......too much

What ^^^^HE said. I have never seen a single episode start to finish although I admit trying maybe 3 or 4 times over the years. He's such a moron it is unwatchable to me. And that's what makes the world go around. People like what they like. I'm not bashing anyone who enjoys it because I expect the same respect. I just can't take him. I also can not STAND Steve Strope from Pure Vision either. So much arrogance. Like you are a leader of men or something. I am pretty sure he knows nothing about cars. He knows how to HIRE PEOPLE THAT DO. Which does take some skill, I admit.

The show was nonsense. I tried to watch it a few times.

Seemed like a lot of saving 1 square foot of an original car and then just building the rest out of a catalog...then claiming it was "numbers correct".
That coupled with the fabricated drama...*yawn*.

Anyone else watch cold war motors on YouTube? Focus is mostly 40's 50's, & 60's cars in less than pristine condition, the cars of my youth. Language can be.....salty.
