Hey everyone, new to the forum. Just purchased a 4 eye and need to know what direction to go. I know the info is probably here in muliple threads, but I just need someones opinion on what I have and where to go with it. I'd like to have a weekend cruiser that's fun to drive and reasonably quick acclerating, maybe equivavlent to a 13.0 1/4 mile. I used to own a V8 Mustang but this thing is totally different and I just want to figure out where I am in this car. Thanks in advance....

This thing is a dog from idle to 4000 rpm. When you hit 4000, it takes off like a rocket from hell!! Breaks the tires loose and is almost undrivable at wot. The boost comes on so fast and strong that you can only accelerate for a couple seconds, you hit 6200 rpm rev limiter, then upshift. When you upshift you end up at 3600 rpm or so and now it's a dog until 4000 rpm, repeat.
What I'd like is boost to come on at 3000 rpm and upshift and stay in the boost. Better yet, I'd like boost to come in at 2500. At this point in my life (4 I'm not interested in drag racing at max rpm. I'm more of a stoplight to stoplight guy or on ramp racer lol. I don't really care to rev this thing past 5500 rpm if you know what I mean. Looking for better drivability, more fun and pleasure, less scary out of control power.
If I need a different cam or turbo, no problem. Which ones?
Thanks
