    Question Inner fender wiring.

As usual I might have created a problem for myself. I have recently been doing some minor cosmetic upgrades under the hood of the Capri and had a question about whether there was any wiring in the upper inner fenders near the fender bolts at the edge of the hood. I have never had the fenders off my car so I am not familiar with what is under the fenders. Any help or pictures would be great! I will post a picture of the area I am talking about below. I was eliminating the prop rod for the hood with some Red Line quick lift hood struts and might have created a problem during the install.

    Any help would be appreciated,
    Robert

There is some horn wiring behind the overflow tank.

On the passenger side at the back there is generally a vacuum ball or container as reserve for the A/C system. There can be a huge row of Emission stuff on some cars, not sure about the 84 model. It is generally located around the strut tower. Both sides obviously have the air cleaner inlet tubes so that can be an obstruction. As mentioned horn wiring although the horns are generally located on the frame rails.

Not really anything that would prevent you from tucking the wires under the inner fender wells, you just might need to route around some stuff or possibly reposition items to make it all work. Good Luck!
