      Default 86 Marquis/LTD seat belts interchangeable

      My driver side seat belt is destroyed. Will the Mustang front seat belt / retractor assembly work in my 86 Marquis?

      I am not sure if they will.

      The retractors I have seen have the model type molded into the plastic. The white Mustang ones I have pictures of state "white Mustang", "yellow T-bird". Not sure what the Marquis would have on them but there are likely differences in the mounting or shape of the retractor or the length of the belt.

      Worth a closer look side by side to verify to confirm though .
