    Yes.

I was originally trying to sell at $6995 starting back in April, but the only response I got was from dealers offering less than half that amout. This is my first CL ad and I dropped the price to $5995 to see if it would generate any interest.

Great looking survivor. I had an 84 with the 3.8 V6. Wasn't fast, but was a great drop top cruiser...

    Bryan,
you'll get five grand as the day is long for this. Most likely some grandpa that wants
"his little princess to have the best!"

Grandfathers are the vast majority of my buyers.

    (3) pics, tight ad, 21 days.

I got one inquiry that was rather frustrating via Craigslist earlier this week. Straight off, the other party asks me if I would accept $5500 before asking any questions, or even looking at it in person. I responded and got more inquiries about engine leaks, etc. The last question was if it was carbureted or not. I let them know that it was indeed carbureted and that it had been recently rebuilt. Their final response was "no thanks, my boyfriend doesn't like to work on carburetors". I'm guessing that her boyfriend doesn't know how. Who knew that was a deal breaker?

I've got one guy that's going to look at it this weekend. I wonder if I should contact him and ask him if there are any factors (besides price) that he would consider a deal breaker.

Our General Manager would threaten firing if we talked price on the phone, don't do it!! lol
P.S. Also, set up appointments on 45 or 15; i.e. 3:15, 4:45, etc. They are far more likely to be punctual

Sounds like like she should be shopping for a new boyfriend that could work on classic cars.
