    Default BCM on EFI conversion?

Moving along with my Fitech install and integration on my 1985 GT 5 Spd. So now the dash is all apart and I have been removing unnecessary components such as shift warning, Cruise Control and whatnot. All factory emission stuff has been removed (aftermarket cat installed) with the conversion to FiTech.

Question: Do I still use the 1985 BCM and for what reason?
