Default Has anyone found USB Socket that fits in stock cigarette hole?

I've tried a couple now and both were over an inch wide while our factory hole is only 7/8".

If you don't actually need the cigarette lighter, this might be a better option. I have one in my 86 Bronco and works very well.

Ha, that's the exact one I bought! I really like it, but the barrel is substantially larger than the stock cigarette lighter hole and I just can't bring myself to bore out the original metal stock piece for my cheap plastic USB Socket! ...Every upgrade I make, I try to make it reversible in case I want to go back original on anything.

I've literally looked at hundreds of different USB sockets and they all see to be in the >1" range.

I put one of those in the Model A!!

Back in the day I know that Escort radar detectors actually gave you an adapter/sleeve to make it fit in 1"lighters. Keep looking and measuring.

    This one l;ooks like .75"

Well great minds think alike right! Mine is in a custom center console in the Bronco, so I wasn't a concerned about the actual diameter of the unit, but I understand why you want to do that.
