Lost Gene Logghe. Gone but will never forget. Logghe bros were HOF drag racecar pioneers and private nice people.
Family is forever special to me and many others since the 60's haydays.
Grew up with the kids. Were neighbors in the subdivision. Shop was down the road.
Kids always shared interesting stories. Only the girls survive now.
Definite influences in our muscle car days in the neighborhood. Car fab part of shop was cool to hang in.
Faded, but never forget being a passenger in Gene's T-bucket and 69 green 390 auto Mach 1 son John took me for rides in.
If anything, their memory forms part of the attitude of competition when at the tree or spectator at the strip.
Son John did cacklefests with his rail, owned a funny car.
Logghe chassis cars were and still are displayed at Detroit Autorama and major annual local car cruises.
Plastic model kits had the logo somewhere on the car.
