Why does the rare stuff have to be such a basket case?
I push my fingers into my eyes......

Update - 2023 - Looking to buy 81 Mustang, 82/85/86 Mustang GT, and 79 - 86 Capri (No Sunroof). Not looking for all original/show cars or convertibles - I will be modifying. Would be nice if both were - Black Interior, PW, PL, AC, No - or very little rust. Motor/Trans/Axle not important. Options negotiable with price.

Why are all the basket cases on the East coast.

Because all the restorable ones are on the West Coast!
Interestingly, '81 was the most "common year" for the T-top Coupe, with just over 6,000 produced

Interesting. I never see 81 mustangs for sale, much less a T-Top coupe.

Looks like it had light blue interior like my old 81 coupe.

If that car was within a "days drive" it would already be mine.
