    Default 1979 Pace Car

So in process of emptying my garage to get the floor coated and pushing my pace car outside, I’ve decided that if I haven’t done anything with it in the past 12 years, I just probably wasn’t going to get to it so I’m putting it up for sale.

The car isn’t in the greatest shape but has potential. It was originally a 4cyl turbo but at some point was swapped to a vintage 302 with the 4spd. I have a clear title for it and it will run but will need to be trailered home. I’m asking $1699 and I am open to reasonable offers. I’m in Plymouth, MN. Working on pics now. I can email them though.

Rear fenders and wheel well on the drivers side. Floor is actually pretty solid though

Would like to see more pictures, looks like this car has a lot of good usable parts that my PC could use.

I'm more concerned with front frame rails and roof/sunroof areas when it comes to rust. If those are solid, it's probably worth restoring. If not, it would depend n the severity of rust.

Update - 2023 - Looking to buy 81 Mustang, 82/85/86 Mustang GT, and 79 - 86 Capri (No Sunroof). Not looking for all original/show cars or convertibles - I will be modifying. Would be nice if both were - Black Interior, PW, PL, AC, No - or very little rust. Motor/Trans/Axle not important. Options negotiable with price.

Well, she made it home in one piece. I got to meet a great member and look at his beautiful four eyed cars. Thanks, ChargedUp! It was a pleasure meeting you! Now, I just have to replace some springs before yanking this gal off the trailer lol!

Here's a pic. It's currently sitting in my garage. I've done some rust repair, got it running decent, lots of brake work, and getting ready to start working underneath to get the chassis cleaned up for new fuel tank, rear end, control arms, torque box reinforcements, etc.
