    Default Headlight question

So I just purchased 4 new Sylvania Silver star headlights for my '85. On the low beams only, the reflective material inside is missing on the bottom of the bulb. (Basically, when installed, look into the lense & I can see the dark grey inside of the headlight bucket which looks bad. Seems the standard Sylvania Extra vision light is the same. Has anyone else purchased new lights & noticed this? Perhaps theres abad run of lights out there? I intend to contact Sylvania Monday morning.
    Thanks in advance

I put Xtravision in my 84 and 85. Did not notice anything odd.

    Tim,
Have you thought about going with new glass housings and led bulbs? Best upgrade I've ever done to these old cars and super easy.

Would using LED bulbs alleviate having to install relays?
