    Default wiper arms

    Hello, all:

Any ideas on getting a stuck passenger side wiper arm off the car? I need to fix the washer nozzle. The arm is on tight for some reason and I don't want to damage the body or anything else. I've had these arms off before but not recently. The clips move freely but the arm is frozen.
    Thanks.

Flip the wiper up and douse it with penetrating oil and let it soak. Be gentle and try to put even pressure on them when prying.

Tip - Next time you put them on use a little anti-sieze or grease on the splines...

This is one problem I've never encountered... and I've dealt with a lot of rust buckets that have sat for years. I pull the arm up and engage the locking tab, which holds the arm in the up position. Grab the base of the arm where it attaches with both hands and gently rock back and forth while pulling. This has always worked for me.
