convertible top liner question

Hey all

Got my 86 GT convertible a few months ago and while cleaning out the trunk, I noticed the convertible top liner has two rods to attached it. Mine are not attached and having a hard time finding any information on where they attach to. Anybody know where these go? any pics would be helpful.

When I replaced the Top and Liner, I don't remember removing any rods and the Electron Top and Liner I used didn't come with any rods in the kit. I could be wrong here, but I believe one purpose for the Liner is to collect any water and prevent water from getting into the trunk or rear of the car. As the rods are there, they may match to the holes that hold the Top to the body around the rear seat level.

thanks, I have looked everywhere around the trunk area and cannot find any holes that line up with these rods, I guess I could just take them out.
