Shocks, struts and quad shocks 1982 GT

Been beat to death, I know. I just discovered my new shocks and struts have gone dead from sitting. I am looking for replacements that won't break the bank. Spirited cornering/driving but not hard core canyon carving and want some comfort daily driving. I have an 8.8 rear but I hope the quads are still good but am not holding my breath. Seems like I've bought everything twice so far so I'm going to finish this thing once and for all.
What are good choices for my type of driving? I don't want to spend a small fortune and stock or a bit better would be my choice.
Rockauto, LMR are a few places I've looked, what else is out there?

Motorcraft, if RockAuto still has them.

Standard replacements such as Motorcraft as mentioned above, Gabriel, Monroe, Sachs, etc. will be the most cost effective.

Tokico Blues are an excellent option if you can find them. Slightly better than stock for spirited driving, but still very good ride quality. I have them on two of my Foxes.

Koni Orange are another option, but at this point the cost is increasing quickly.

Bilsteins would be the next option, but again more money.

Nothing new, it recently happened to a Chevelle, a Fairlane and now my Mustang. I've had it happen in years past on a Falcon. As for the brand, I do not remember, I'd have to look. All I can tell you is it rides like a golf cart with 4 flats and a load of sand, It rode fine a few months ago.
By new, they were new 5 years ago and have less than 2000 miles on them.

That sounds very strange. My Tokico's are about 10 years old and maybe 3000 miles.
