Update - 2023 - Looking to buy 81 Mustang, 82/85/86 Mustang GT, and 79 - 86 Capri (No Sunroof). Not looking for all original/show cars or convertibles - I will be modifying. Would be nice if both were - Black Interior, PW, PL, AC, No - or very little rust. Motor/Trans/Axle not important. Options negotiable with price.

I am actually New here, LOL. I used own and Run a old forum called TNR a few years back. I ended up shutting it down and wish I did not some days. I feel the Forums will survive the storm but wont ever be as strong as years past.

I am still waiting for my new 347 motor getting built at the machine shop.... its been almost 6 months or more so I have been building a new race bike from scratch, paid $50.00 bucks for it in boxes and I mean boxes. the guy went crazy taking everything apart and then some of the motor parts got some rust so I had to find the only replacement motor for sale in the whole country but its getting there ready for next season im taking a 1984 Honda and bringing it into 2021Name: thumbnail (3).jpg

Blainer is still here. I've bought a few disregarded 4 eyed mustangs and brought them back to life since I sold my ttop coupe. There is still an emptiness where a 4 eyed notch should be in my life.

I post here all the time. I constantly have the ol foureye wheels spinning in my head lol! Currently working on getting this one on the road, although I'm working out of town for a few weeks (I'll be home this time next week).

    Attachment 136446

Bought it off another member. Recently got her running again but I'm doing some rust repair in the rear wheel area and then installing an 8.8, fuel tank, and lines. Should be driving it by Spring.

Honestly I went on an internet diet. I've been avoiding it but since I saw the progress on the car yesterday I have been updating a bit on the site.

I went quiet since selling my 81 Notch Ghia. I lurk once in a while, but mostly post when I need help with my '88.
Too many life issues got in the way with age. Lame excuse I guess, but I still love the 4eyes and almost all foxes.

I just recently starting coming back here, between retiring, and moving 4000 miles East, life has seem quite a few chances in recent years. I sold my 85 Mustang drag car a few years ago, but still racing my 78 Fairmont 2 door sedan that I have owned for 35 years. Would kinda like to find another boxtop or 79-86 Mustang or Capri, if the "right one" comes up. I do spend a lot of time on facebook, as my interests include more than just FOX body cars, as I have had several 69/70 Mach 1s, and other 60s-early 70s muscle cars, as well as NHRA Stock and Super Stock drag racing, and other older Ford vehicles. The past couple of years has seen me spending most of my spare time getting my long term project car, a street/strip 1959 Meteor (Canadian Ford) 2 door sedan finished and on the road , FINALLY! It has a 428 Cobra Jet engine and 4 speed Toploader, and I have put over 3000 miles on it since getting it on the road July 2020. With somewhat varied interests, although all Fords, there are several groups on facebook I an on, although I have left a few supposed "Ford" groups, that seem to have no problem with guys swapping in Chevy engines, or even more rediculeous, 4 or 6 cylinder Japanese engines! I like pretty much any Ford, but in my eyes, once you decide to install non Ford powertrain, it is no longer a Ford.

I've been out for a while. Moved yet further away from where most of my cars are stored and parts have gotten insane priced I'm starting to more seriously debate if I should unload the Twister and probably the '85 LX. Recently had to eat the cost of rebuilding the suspension on the Explorer and it's time to do a full rebuild on my '98 daily driver. Every year they sit the cost of doing them gets higher. The energy and money are waning to have as many projects as I had dreams of back in the day. Hail killed my camper restoration and about made me turn loose of the Explorer since she's never not going to look like a flying golf ball now. It just gets overwhelming some days, though those are the days I shuffle back to the forum and try to get some spark back. Forum has always been so good at giving me some incentive to get something, even a small something, done on a project.

I’ve been out for a loooong time. Was here around 2009 when I had Jeff’s twin Capri. I regret selling it weekly.

Possibly on the hunt for another but man they are scarce and fox body prices have went nuts. Just popped in to browse the classifieds and say howdy.

I was a member here about 10 years ago. I made a lot of friends, many of which I am still friends with today.

Unfortunately, I sold my 86 GT ragtop and moved to the world of 60's Muscelcars. I've had some really bada$$ rides over the last 10 years, but eventually I got tired of the Prima Donna status of Musclecars. I have a lot of buddies who spent big dollars building insane cars, only to not want to drive them and enjoy them. Seems stupid to me....I mean if you had a hot super model for a girlfriend would you not bang her because you were saving her for the next guy??

Finally I got tired of nobody wanting to take their cars out so I talked to some of my Fox buddies about rejoining the world of Foxbodies. I wanted something really unique and insane, but definitely something I could drive anywhere. Luckily, I found the car that fits my needs perfectly. I recently scored an 85 Notch with a complete pro touring build and a warmed over 700HP Terminator/6 speed swap. It's absolutely insane and easily the fastest car I've ever owned or driven. I used to have a 69 Camaro with a 600HP 496 big block and this car is much faster.

I'm looking forward to being a part of the forum. I remember about 10 years ago I practically lived on here.

I agree, from the for sale section to just general topics and builds. Lots of views but not as much interaction as there was a few years ago. Kinda sad, and hopefully this forum pocks up again like it has been in the past.
