Default 12 volt switched power source

84 ltd lx, 347, t5. I am installing an Edelbrock proflo 4150 fuel injection system. The instructions read to connect wire to a +12 volt switched power source that provides +12 volts when the is both "on" and "cranking". Any suggestions?

Coil wire, my 82 has Edelbrock proflow 4 port efi and I used the white with blue dash tracer wire which went to my coil.

The white with blue tracer wire may have actually gone to the duraspark module, not directly to the coil. Its been a while since i installed the fuel injection.

That makes sense, Edelbrock said not to wire to the coil.
