    Default Cruise control delete capping

To clean up under the hood, I thought I would delete the cruise control at least for now (keeping it in case I change my mind later). I saw some posts about relocating cruise buttons, but not removing.

My questions are, can I simply cap the two areas vacuum hoses connected to the cruise module (red circles below) without adversely affecting the vacuum system?

For the larger circled hose, any ideas on a plug that would fit...when I search, I only find plugs for specific cars with no mention of hose size. Any ideas on this hose size or how to measure?

Appreciate any feedback and other ideas. Not crazy about the protruding hose, but probably best not to cut it (although I could use a connector later if desired).

You just need to seal those vacuum ports.

Use a vacuum cap to seal the male nipples.
    Such as:

Titan TIT45252 80 Piece Vacuum Cap Assortment
    Price: $11.33

    Plenty of options...

To plug a vacuum line, I often just use a screw that fits (SAE or Metric).
However, the proper way is to use a straight vacuum connector, then plug the open end.

You can also use a silicon plug, then put a Big vacuum cap over the plug and the vacuum line (to make sure the plug doesn't wiggle out).

40 Pc 1/16" to 3/4" High Temp Silicone Rubber Tapered Plug Kit - Powder Coating Custom Painting Supplies
    Price: $9.93

    Good Luck!
