    Default Wiring for 84 Fox

1984 GT convertible with auto. Rather than patch engine wiring was told replacing would be better. Anyone know where or who might have this ?

Here is the engine harness for the 5.0 in the 1984 model. https://www.foxresto.com/1984-Mustan...-p/4784001.htm

This is the engine only part of the harness. If you need repairs to the engine bay harness that comes out of the firewall on the driver side or the passenger side, you will have to make repairs or replace the existing harness with original parts salvaged from another vehicle. No one right now makes anything besides what I liked to above that I am aware of. Good Luck!

You could have it repaired at midlife restorations.

Unfortunately I am not aware of anyone reproducing the EFI wiring for the early Four Eyes at this time. I have a 1984 SVO that is getting updated with 1986 wiring and engine. Not sure if that could be helpful or not. Send me a PM if you would like to discuss. Good Luck!

I had the same problem when I got my 84 LX convertible. Mine is CFI and theres no vendor selling that engine harness.

I repaired my wires one by one. Bought new connectors and fixed everything one thing at a time. The only connectors I could not find brand new replacements for was the CFI connector and the TPS connector. I was able to get decent used ones for those.

All in all, my vert runs great.
