Lower windshield trim clips

Can anyone tell me what the part # is for the clips that hold the two lower trim pieces on either side of the lower windshield? Here's a pic of what I'm looking for.



I'm not sure this is 100% accurate, but it's close. The clips on my 79 cobra were so wasted that there's only sections of each one. There was enough left of a couple to match it up here.

LMR and fox resto sell them and have them listed for 79-93 mustangs, but no Ford part#. I found similar (identical?) clips listed online for trucks, vans, t-birds, and broncos. However, the Ford part # is listed as E1DZ-6629100. This seems to predate my 79, so I'm not sure 79 if the same. I would also prefer not to pay $10 each through LMR, as I have a few cars I'm restoring and there are 4 required per car. I can usually find these types of parts a lot cheaper if I know the part #.

I would have to get my parts book CD loaded to verify if that part number is correct. It visually appears to be correct. As for predating your 79 Cobra, it actually post dates your Cobra the E1 is 1981, but as Ford often does it will update part numbers due to changes in design, materials, etc. with later model part numbers that are still correct for the earlier model vehicles.

I guess I was up too late last night lol! Yes, I totally meant "post-date"! I think I'm going to go ahead and order some and see if they are the same. They certainly do look identical in the pics. I'll update this thread when I have more info. Thx
