Default chipped blade on clutch fan

I had to pull my SVE radiator and swap it last weekend. It was leaking. I noticed one of my fan blades has a small but noticeable chip on it. Not sure how it got there. Its an aftermarket LMR plastic 9 blade fan. I disposed of my original steel fan. I think it had 5 blades and they were unevenly spaced.

First, is this something that needs immediate attention? and if so, are there any better fans than LMR"s? I always felt it didnt pull enough air.

IMHO what you don't want or need is to have the fan come apart while the engine is running. Replacing or repairing a hood and whatever else it can tear up is not worth the risk.

Not sure who has a fan better or worse then LMR but you can always get an OEM style one from most auto parts stores.
