Post Please help with 2.3L 140 1980 engine

    Have a nice day.
I read that there are a lot of experts. I am from a small country in the EU. People don't know anything about cars from the USA here. The problem is also that I speak English. I bought a 1980 Ford Mustang Cobra three years ago with a 2.3-liter turbo engine. The owner passed me deceived when selling the car. The car was in poor condition, which I didn't know about. The cracked cylinder head I was looking for for two years. The air filter cover was also missing and there is a problem. I have no idea how to connect a vacuum circuit. I got the cover from another car but it fits. I found and bought a wiring diagram on the Internet, but I won't break it because not everything is there.Name: DSC_3738.JPG

I think what you need to find is an EVTM manual for the car. This stands for Electrical Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual. It should have all of the electrical connections on the engine as well as all of the vacuum hose routing.

The embedded photos below may be of help. They are for a 2.3l nonturbo, 1979 Mustang.Name: 1979 Mustang 2.3l engine compartment #2 small.jpg

BTW, you can right click on the photos, select save image link. Then paste that link into a new browser window. Then click on the photo and it will get larger. Save that photo.
