    Default Because timing is everything

Had this old 70s vintage 302 timing cover up in the shop attic for too long. It had a lot of corrosion around the water ports so figured it was better off scrapped or repurposed. Decided a fitting use would be to turn it into a clock.

I thought about a hanging clock, but went with the base to have it as a desk clock instead. The wood base is angled slightly so the cover is not situated vertically for better viewing. I have thought I might try to locate a dipstick for the tube. I considered removing it, but liked how it looked.
