    Default Fuel tank differences

Hi all, I'm in the process of redoing fuel lines with -8 feed and -6 return, I'm wanting to use a pickup that states it for an 86 to 93 mustang.

My question is, what is the difference between an 85 svo tank and an 86 to 93 tank?

I have an 85 svo tank in my 79 with an old 255 lph fuel pump so I'm not sure what if any differences there are.

    Thanks if anyone knows.

84, 85 86 svo tanks are the same as 87-93 tanks.

Perfect, thank you. That saves me a couple of dollars.

Good question that I'll piggy-back onto...

I have an '85 GT AOD/CFI with just the in-tank pump. Does this use the same carrier/cage as '86-'93? I'm in the process of switching from CFI to MP-EFI.

    Thanks!
