The move already caught my attention and looked like it would be a pretty good crime drama with a stellar cast and good story from what I could tell from the trailers. Anyways, since HBO Max has it the same time as the theaters, I was definitely going to check it out, and i'm only 2 minutes into the movie and I can already tell it's going to be good...

Lol. The movie itself was a 6/10 IMO. I feel like it could've been so much better, but that's just what I thought.

Yeah, I saw the trailers and thought it looked good, and then heard about HBO Max getting movies that were going to be released into theaters so I was excited about checking this movie out at the same time most people get to see it in person. I must say I was disappointed, not because the movie was sub-par, but because I think if this movie had some better writing, it really could've been so much better, but fell way short.

I have to agree too. I generally enjoy Denzel's movies and thought it could be a good one, but honestly it fell flat with the ending. I can deal with a cliff hanger or even an ambigious ending, but that one just didn't work for me personally. Wife watched it with me and she felt the same way. Oh well, glad I didn't pay to see it at the theater to be honest. Same goes for WW84.
