I had 2 different set I tried on mine never could get them to fit right. I took it to a muffler shop and he butchered them and welded them back together fits like it was made for it now.

I've yet to have an exhaust system that fits perfectly. I've had to tweak all of mine. Flowamster, bbk, magna flow, etc.

Fwiw, a properly fitting Fox Mustang is like "World Peace". It exists only in the minds of naive people that don't know better.

The factory exhaust had to be replaced on my Mustang ~5-7 years after it was new. I forget when/why.
The Service Advisor said that even the exhausts from the factory "had to be tweaked" (cut/welds/etc).

Also, a very good "Mustang-only" specialist that I used to go to (he passed away :-( ), told me that every exhaust he did needed "tweaking". And, he had put on every Mustang exhaust system that was sold.
He used, and suggested, good band-clamps. Beware, there are many cheap POS band-clamps.

Use your sawsall and a good/new demolition blades. If someone doesn't have a sawsall, then buy one. Or, feel free to use your hacksaw and cut the exhaust (like I used to do when I was in high school).

85 and older uses a heat riser valve on the right side. 86-93 stock or otherwise headers do not use the heat riser. 84-85 exhaust requires matching manifolds/ headers, heat riser and matching H (actually Y) pipe.
