    Default Door jamb Spring

Does anyone know what this spring is called? I was getting off the floor and caught my pants on the spring and it broke off and I cannot find the part anywhere. When I search the Internet for door jam spring the only thing that comes up are the spring switches that are mounted at the forward portion and control the dome light.

I'm not sure of the correct name for that but I believe it is for the seat belt retractor.

Unfortunately that part is attached to the seat belt retractor mechanism by a cable and I don't believe any of that is replaceable with the exception of the plastic bezel that holds the plunger in place on the door jamb. You will have to find a good used seat belt with a good plunger to replace the whole assembly. The only other option I am aware of would be to push it back inside the door jamb and then plug the hole with a rubber grommet.

If you need the plastic bezel that is available aftermarket now here" https://lmr.com/item/LRS-7989SBB/Mus...er-Bezel-79-89

I like the way you think Trey. I’m gonna push it down and cover it with a grommet.

Similar thing happened to mine last fall in the driver’s side. :-(

Seat belts don’t retract correctly now when door opens. I have to give it little yank to get it retract.
