    Default New 86 capri owner

Name is Sean from Sacramento CA. Just got a hold of my first fox body 1986 capri T-Top. This looks like the place to be for early foxes so I figured I would post up. look forward to exploring this car I come from a vw bug and Subaru back ground so the capri is a bit different. Can't wait to have some fun with good ol Amarica V8 here it is as it sits today.

Looks like a good foundation for a fun build. What are your plans for it? Restore to former glory or kinda resto-mod? Capris are getting very hard to find so good score. And welcome.

Nice buy. Thats the twin to my 86 t top car, well before the old owner painted it blue. I may have a driver side fender for it

Plan is kinda resto mod. Needs the suspension gone through probably put some lowering springs on it. Would like to make it handle more then a straight line car. Kinda modernize it a bit while keeping it looking original as y'all have said capri's are not as common.

Like all Foxes without body colored RIM plastic, the results of the high sand content plastic aging process varies. But a good 86 Capri like yours is a huge step towards the most awesome NASA style high performamce amalgum of angles and edges.Great score!
