Default 83 Pickup tube/fuel sending unit for 3/8" Line

Upgrading the fuel line on my '83 to 3/8". Carbureted with mechanical fuel pump. I can get the 3/8" hard line from the tank to the engine bay, but cannot find anyone who makes a sending unit with the 3/8' pickup tube rather than the 5/16". I see where people make pickups for the electric fuel pump cars with 3/8" or AN fittings but not for the early models. What are other people doing? Don't really want to have to fabricate something; as many of these things that are hot rodded, surely somebody made this for the carbureted cars.

Carefully drill out the old pickup tube and drill the hole out to 3/8" bend up a new 3/8" tube and solder it in. Put a mild flare on the end so the rubber hose does'nt pop off .

I had a local shop install a 1/2" pick up and 3/8" return. I capped off the original pick up so I can use the gauge.
