All, this is the last part I need to figure out. On adding my ac I figured all of my wiring, but have no idea on the vacuum lines to the ac box, or if I need vs connector I don't have?

The non A/C cars are generally cables only and the A/C cars use the cable for the blend door and the rest is all vacuum operated.

    KevinK is right.

Between the junctions, the colors can change, so can the total numbers of vac lines. For your 85 LX, it was born with five, but your aftermarket is a GM style 8. So you may have another black line, ie two black vac lines to the engine bay.

    Sometimes 5,

    sometimes 7 or 8.

Finding the right early diagram is important.

    This is the 87-93 one

Our Australian Fords have 9 lines.

For sake of argument.... If attached vacuum line to the controller and blew threw the line. I was able to figure out what output was was, by doing so and moving the levers. The dash is ready to go back in.

I need to finish rewiring the car and need to take the ac lines to be crimped. After that finishing stripping the paint and a repaint are the only hard parts left.
