    Default wipe motor wire colors

I am rewiring the entire car. The pdf posted is helpful, but I am not sure what wire is what in the case of the wiper motor. My motor is likely bad, and I'd like to test it .

Does anyone know where each wire goes? IE blue/red, red, black, white are what I have

The wiper motor grounds through the mounting screws and the ground wire attached to them. In most case, the Blue/Red is High speed from the switch, Red is power from the fuse block, white is low speed from the switch and black I believe is park for the wipers. The pdf wiring diagrams actually show the layout pretty well.

Personally I would test for power at the wiper motor plug first to verify that the unit is actually getting power. Then I would make sure it is well grounded. If you power at the plug and the motor is well grounded and you still get no movement, then motor is most likely bad. Personally I haven't had good luck testing the motors myself. More often than not in my experience the issue is the ground of the wiper motor.

When I rewired my 79 PC, I reused all of the wiring harness from the switch to the intermittent wiper governor to the wiper motor and the washer reservoir. That only required that I run new wire to the turn signal/wiper switch on the column. Much easier and less headaches in my case.
