Rerouted/tucked the passenger side O2 sensor wiring and the plastic line from the fuel tank to charcoal canister for the evap.

Looks much better without everything routed over the strut tower. Now for the drivers side....

Made up some ptfe hose ends for fuel lines and reinstalled the tank to check fitment.
Gonna need a different fuel filter bracket for my aeromotive filter. Ordered one of those and (2) 90 degree fittings for the new routing.
was going to try to go down the pass side with the fuel lines, but looks like the driveshaft tunnel is gonna be my best bet.

Now I just need to weld a nut into the floor on the tunnel sides, since my bench seat car does not have a nut welded in those locations.

Want to thank FEP member Greywolf for a great price on the seats!

Tucked the headlight/blinker harness today, took care of the drivers side harness last weekend.

Engine bay looks much cleaner, for now, it's good enough for me.

Chipped away at the 79 cobra body work. Patched another small rust spot on the frame, just below the battery tray. I'll need to patch a section of the lower core support, and I'm hoping that's it.

I bought a new truck and took it to my buddy for some window tint. Ended up buying a set of 289 heads off him. 1966 casting and machine-shop fresh. Screw-in studs, ported, new springs and guide plates. They look to have bigger valves, but I haven't measured them yet. They've had some nice work done to them. I may slap them on my 302 short block I have for the 82 capri.

Finally got my fuel filter hung today. Aeromotive makes a new style filter bracket that allows the filter to “snap” in.
Now I just have to route the lines and securely mount them, make up the hose meds for the rail, and fuel lines will be done.
That will be a big load off, then need to get the filler pipe sorted and fuel system will be done except for wiring.

I took down my sanding / paint booth yesterday, so I can start the prep for the vinyl wrap on my '86 hatchback. I should be able to get started on that work in a week.

Today I got a custom tee-shirt with MY Granada on the front with flames out the back and a graffiti 'Granada' title. COOL! And thoughtful! For father's day!
My son works doing art/custom t-shirt design for them. This was done by another artist though. Will post a pic tomorrow probably. Pretty cool!
Also, son is graduating Friday and they have a senior parade (about 38 graduates. Small school.) and he wants us to take the Granada.

    Nice Zephyr shirt!
Yeah, sideways was my fault as I took it landscape instead of portrait. Oops.

Drove it in my son's high school graduation parade. He kept saying 'rev it' by groups of people! He knows it's unique and had fun. He was valedictorian after all.

Last weekend got the AEM AFR meter Working. Without a lift getting the Y pipe removed and back in for sensor bung welding was taking me much time.
First revalation of measure instead of guess what is going on in the engine: when engine cold the Impco vaporizer froze. Causing extreme low AFR values, over 2.0 , meter can't show it.
    Added coolant, problem solved.
Now my mistake: since the vaporizer is in serie in the heater hose connected that is high mounted compared to the radiatorcap, I filled the heaterhose with coolant, the level in the radiator rising with it.
I thought the cap would open and dump the surplus in the catch tank.
It blew the waterpump gasket instead.
So this weekend was waterpump replacement time. (In between being pampered by my kids for fathersday )

I need to drop mine, too. My rear main leaks just a bit. Guess I didn't do the two-piece seal exactly perfect.

Finished installing oil pressure and coolant temp gauges and took it out to a local cruise.

Drove the pace car to the local cruise-in along with my buddy (my old 88gt) and my brother-in-law (Subaru WRX). I'm the guy drinking water. Been sweating all day helping with the brake upgrade on the WRX.
