Default Started My Own Business This Year

Last year I was furloughed and laid off, but stayed busy doing my own projects over the summer. It came to November, and I had a couple phone interviews. I just couldn't get excited about going back to work for another company, even on a contract basis. I decided to give my own business a shot.

I registered my own .com over the Christmas break, signed up for an AMSOIL dealership, and am giving my own ideas a chance this year. I have minimal debt after 2020, some savings to invest, and we'll see what I can do on my own terms.

Basinmotorsports.com is still in the works overall, and I'm building it as I have time. It should be an interesting year.

Congratulations! That sounds very exciting. Good luck to you sir. Doing it DEBT FREE is for sure the only way to go.

Definitely sounds exciting! Good luck! I've been considering doing something myself, but I haven't been able to commit.

Hope you are successful. I've been using Amsoil products almost exclusively in all our vehicles - including my Fox Mustang for several years now. I started with my motorcycles since it was less expensive for Amsoil full synthetic than the motorcycle branded blends. I'm not a dealer, but do have the preferred customer account. Only issue with them is that some of the products I'd like to use are not sold in Canada.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I have my site done after 2 weeks of working on it, and I can just focus on my blog every week until I need to make more changes. Hopefully this year will open up a few shows, so I can get out of the house once in a while.

Best of luck. Let us know if you have any new products to offer. I know it’s tough to produce things and make a profit. At the very least maybe you can find some suppliers to offer services such as small runs or such if it fits in your business plan.
