    Default Cobra spare tire

    Does anyone know what size spare wheel is on an 98 cobra. also will it fit in spare tire well on my 84 GT vert?

    I know its a 17" wheel, but don't recall the actual tire size. The 17 is needed to clear the 13" front brakes. I believe the overall height is still @ 25.6" so you can use that to measure with to determine if it will fit your 84 GT vert. Good Luck!

    Thanks winding down my 5 lug update just need to make sure before I buy a spare that clears my cobra brakes that it will fit in tire well. thanks again

    155/70/17 = 25.5" diameter
    245/45/17 = 25.7" diameter
    (Less than 1% difference between the above. Note, those are ideal/typical sizes.)

    Yes, but it will sit high - not a big deal but I still keep mine in the 86 vert.
