Default Heater/ac box questions new guy

Hi All I am currently working on a 84 GT350 Anniversary Edition car 2.3 turbo 5sp . This is a project that I am doing with my 18 year old son it is his first stang and Is a very cool car. I used to work at a ford dealer in the mid 80s to early 90s I drove and dealer prepped a lot of these 80 and 90s cars. Ok so we have the blower box out changing blower motor now waiting on a new switch for blower and a resistor Were can I get a new cowl seal for top of blower box or is it a make your own deal. I only looked at CJs and LMR Amazon. I did not look at steel rubber yet or some of the others? Thanks for any info on this.

I have seen seals and gaskets for the Fox generation HVAC box, but right now I am not finding much. I will continue to search and hopefully find something or another member will post up better information. Good Luck!

If you can’t find anything I have used weatherstripping from Home Depot. It works good. You can get it on a roll.

I was thinking about that. IM just getting back to this we moved my car to other garage and got her back to our home shop so my son and I can work on her.

I cut down some foam 'soft-step' molded pads for industrial use that I got from Lowes
