Hello all, I’m doing a restoration on a 1985. Waiting on a back ordered driveshaft so I thought I’d put the interior together. I found this wire in the trunk/hatch and cannot figure out the routing or where it goes.

Looks like heated rear window power cord maybe???

I took a few more pictures, see below. If it’s a hood light can someone please send a picture of the wire routing and what are the mount is screwed into. I’m having a hard time figuring out how this can be a light with only one wire that appears to be a ground.
......Where the mount is screwed into.
It is a hood light, the wire is the power feed. It gets grounded through the mounting screw to the hood.
The bulb socket has a mercury switch in it that closes the circuit when you lift up the hood.
The ring terminal goes to the (+) battery side of the starter relay mounted on the inside fender.
Not sure but the 1986 may have the light mounted on the Drivers side. Because of battery

Interesting! Now I just need to find a bulb and see if the Mercury switch works.
