Something with the HVAC for sure. Blend door actuator maybe?

I believe there are only 3 vacuum hoses under the dash.
Main vacuum in comes thru the firewall.
Vacuum motor above the gas pedal
Vacuum motor behind the glove box.

Thank guys for the input. I’m stumped. Spend a couple hours looking under the dash but couldn’t find where it would connect. I know it doesn’t go behind the HVAC controls because I pulled it out and it has a manifold plug with no spot for a single hose. I checked the blend door and it looked to still have one hooked up (see picture). I know it had a heater core replacement years ago. Could they have left it dangling and just ran another one? The color tells you where it goes. It looks yellow to me.
See the diagram that is here.

Thank you Red ‘78! Your diagram was just what I needed. I’ll crawl under again. It’s definitely yellow striped so I’ll be hunting for the elusive ac-defrost door.

Actually, the above posted diagrams may not be correct for Mustang. Mustang has only 2 vacuum motors and a cable for the blend door. One vacuum motor has 1 yellow hose and the other has a blue and red hose. Black hose is the main feed from the engine.

Look above the gas pedal and you will see where the yellow hose goes.

Correction: There is a third vacuum motor for the outside recirculate door (white). This only functions with Max and OFF functions.

Thanks KevinK. You nailed it! It went to the vacuum motor above the gas pedal. Much appreciated my brother!

Do the non/ac cars have any? I can't see a vacuum line going under the dash on my non AC '83.
