    Default Throttle cable bracket

    Throttle cable bracket
Has anyone installed a holly sniper EFI on a 1985 fox body. I’m trying to figure out how to attach the factory throttle cable to the EFI. I’m certainly open to doing my own fabrication; however, if there’s an off-the-shelf option or someone else has already figured this out it will minimize time. I am not familiar with the Holley Sniper, but are you simply needing a ball stud to attach the throttle linkage too? If so, maybe this will work for you.

Thanks for the input Trey. I had the ball stud. The sniper efi and old Holly carburetor used a 1/4 ball. The issue was the OEM bracket and throttle cable was not in the proper position when mounted to the intake. I ended up modifying the OEM bracket. For those with a carbureted 85 and switching to sniper efi, the oem bracket has to be moved left 1.1 inch, aft 1.1 inch, and down .25 inches.

I still need to figure this out myself for my Fitech install. I do not have a bracket of any kind. Shouldn't be too bad to figure out, I just should have done so a while ago instead of waiting until now. Those ball stud kits and a basic bracket should do the trick.

Since my thing is a little different I will start a new thread.
