Can someone show or tell me what type of nuts were used on the 1983 hood scoop to attach it the hood? I know that the thread on the studs are 1/4-20.
Thanks in advance, Mongos82ttop

1/4-20 nuts with a free spinning washer. Good Luck!

Those look kinda like the hardware to attach the taillight housings
79 Zephyr, 4.6L 4v/4r70w swap, with team z front and rear suspension, 8.8 and upgraded brakes and coil overs. Running Holley Terminator X Max.
Also parking light hardware, front fenders to bumper cover.
Nuts are similar to flange nuts
Careful when tightening. The studs can strip out of scoop.
Cannot be replaced without taking off scoop due to stud flange position.
Also easily stripped if nut is rusted to stud. Been there.
Snug is good enough. Recommend a bit of anti sieze.

I appreciate the replies guys.
The hood scoop on my car has two different types of nuts securing it. Just wanted to make sure i put the correct ones back on it.
Thanks again.
